The threat to our democracy is real. The Supreme Court’s shifting stance jeopardizes the progress we have made in ensuring equality for all citizens. We cannot turn a blind eye to the potential consequences: a regression to a society where human rights, women’s rights, and marginalized communities are no longer protected.

(I won’t even address the real cause of this, which is racism as a revolt against integration). And in one of this generations landmark decisions, the Supreme Court of the United States has now reversed a fundamental right so that it could expand religion to reflect the justice that wrote the Dobbs decision beliefs, Justice Alito. Alito admits that he is using his office to push his religious beliefs.
